Fraudulent Calls Targeting Business Customers

We have received reports of business customers receiving fraudulent calls that appear to come from Idaho First Bank. Callers may claim to be from our Fraud Department or Treasury Management team and ask you to take action involving your account or online banking credentials.

Some of these calls have specifically targeted businesses that previously received PPP loans. Because PPP recipient information is publicly available, fraudsters may use this information to make their calls appear more legitimate.

Idaho First Bank will never call and ask you to provide or change your online banking credentials. If you receive a suspicious call claiming to be from Idaho First Bank, do not provide any information or take the requested action.

If a call seems suspicious, hang up and contact us directly at 866-634-2760 before taking any action.

People First, Community First in Action

Making a Difference

From helping protect a customer from fraud to volunteering in the communities we serve, our team is always finding ways to make a difference. Here are a few moments that show what putting people and community first looks like in action.

A Fraud Stop Worth Celebrating

One of our team members recently spotted the warning signs of a fraud attempt and stepped in before the customer took action. Their quick thinking and attention to detail helped protect the customer and their account, a great example of People First in action.

2026 Community Day

Community Day is coming up on September 16, and our teams are getting ready to roll up their sleeves! We’ll be spending the afternoon giving back alongside organizations in our communities.

Out in the Community

Some of our IFB team was recently spotted out in the community, volunteering with the Boise Rescue Mission. The team spent time lending a hand and supporting the organization.
