SBA Credit Underwriter

Idaho First Bank is looking for a full-time SBA Credit Underwriter to join our newly added SBA division. This position is unique in design and offers the right person an opportunity to train and learn all aspects of SBA servicing and lending.

Minimum Responsibilities

  • Review initial SBA loan applications for completeness, request additional information as required - training provided
  • Support SBA Administrator and lending staff with the completion of SBA credit memorandums to meet SBA credit underwriting standards et al,* - training provided
  • Review documentation checklist for SBA compliance - training provided
  • Monitor and track annual business tax returns and annual reviews for completion
  • Other duties as assigned

 *et al - evaluation of management, industry, repayment capacity, projections, pro forma balance sheet  preparation, and analysis of both working capital and equity adequacy

Essential Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in finance preferred of Bachelor's of Science in another business field. Prior existing banking experience will be considered
  • Strong desire to learn and understand SBA Standards Operating Procedures and Regulations
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • SBA servicing and lending experience a plus

Part-Time Customer Relationship Manager I - McCall

Idaho First Bank is looking for a part-time Customer Relationship Manager I to join our McCall team.

Position requires excellent customer service and cash handling skills. Previous banking is a plus but not required. This position assures compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Minimum Responsibilities

  • High School diploma or 1 year of related banking experience
  • Intermediate understanding of computer systems
  • Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
  • Basic math skills

Essential Skills & Education

  • Process currency, coin and negotiable instruments in a timely manner
  • Ability to balance cash drawer daily
  • Maintain awareness of bank products and services to ensure proper referrals
  • Operate computer terminals and resolve problems within given authority
