Security Update for QuickBooks and Quicken Users
Intuit has an additional layer of security for desktop users of Quicken and Quickbooks called Quickbooks. This feature authorizes specific connections between your Intuit desktop application and your accounts at Idaho First Bank, giving you an additional layer of security via two-factor authentication

How to Enable Quickbooks
1. Authorize the connection through the Idaho First Online Banking portal
- Log into Idaho First Online banking
- Select the end-user profile avatar from the main menu
- Select “Settings”
- Select “Security”
- In the “Quickbooks” section, select “Manage”
- A list of applications with attempted connections to the last user’s account will appear
- Locate the connection that the last user attempted in the Intuit or Quicken application
- Multiple connections may be listed, be sure to select the correct one
- Select the correct connection, then click “Approve”
2. Finish the process in the Intuit or Quicken application
- Restart the application
- Repeat all steps from part 1 to add Idaho First Bank
- When the list of available accounts appears, select your desired option.
