Welcome to our new and improved Idaho First Bank website. I hope that you will find it easy to navigate through and that it provides easy access to information about Idaho First Bank. Idaho First "the Bank" is the only bank headquartered in McCall and Valley County. Our owners are your neighbors and friends and I believe that sets us apart from all other banks in Valley County. That's right, we are locally owned by people that live in, or have strong ties to Valley County.
The Bank is here to support our local communities. How have we done? According to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation we are McCall's largest bank by deposit share. So we have a strong presence with deposit clients. According to the website www.bankinggrades.com Idaho First Bank is the only bank in Valley County to get an "A" grade for lending to small businesses. In fact, they say we are 465th out of the 7,265 commercial banks in the U.S. in percentage of our loan portfolio invested in small business loans. That puts us in the top ten percent of banks lending to small business in the country. I believe we are fullfilling our promise.
With our staff members, led by Jerry Jutting and Sherry Maupin, our goal is to be sure all decisions can be made locally, by your friends and neighbors that understand you and our community. Questions you have, don't need to go anywhere else to get answered, but stay right here in your community.
I hope that you will enjoy our new website. My goal with this blog is to provide information that you will be able to use to understand banking better, maybe introduce a new service you will find of interest, or just provide an understanding of why banking with a community bank is like being a member of something local and focused on helping you.
