Todd has supported commercial lending in a wide variety of industries during his 30+ years in banking. His skill in asking the right questions helps customers find proactive funding solutions. Todd enjoys Boise’s welcoming business culture—rare in a city with a small-town feel. He enjoys working with local business leaders, generational owners of family businesses, and entrepreneurs. He balances his interest in the beautiful Idaho outdoors with playing rhythm guitar.
Shannon Stoeger
Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer
Shannon brings nearly 30 years of community banking experience which includes retail and small business banking, commercial lending, treasury management and executive leadership. Most recently, Shannon was Senior Vice President and Branch Administrator at Idaho Independent Bank. Shannon holds a BBA in Finance from Boise State University, an MBA from Boise State University and graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Shannon serves on the Board of Directors for Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County and Capital Matrix.
Bryan Furlong
Senior Vice President, Chief Banking Officer
Bryan strives to find creative lending solutions that can truly help IFB clients succeed in growing their businesses. With 30 years of experience, he understands the importance of taking action to create progress. Bryan loves working with a dedicated team that cares about helping our local businesses thrive, because he knows that people are what matter. Spare time finds Bryan out mountain biking or hand-crafting wood into furniture.
Stephen Speidel
Chief Financial Officer
Steve is a licensed CPA with 10 years of experience in community banking. He joined Idaho First Bank in 2015 as an Accounting Manager, was promoted to Controller in November 2016, and then CFO in June 2019. For six years before joining the Bank, Steve provided audit and consulting services for community banks, while working for national CPA firm BKD LLP in Louisville, Kentucky and then Eide Bailly in Boise, Idaho. He graduated with a BA from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, in 2002. Steve currently serves on the Audit Committee of the Idaho State Board of Education.
Kathleen Lewis
Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Administrator
Kathleen joined the Bank in November, 2013. She has 32 years in the financial institutions industry in the areas of commercial banking, private banking, wealth management, retail and small business banking. Prior to joining Idaho First, Kathleen was Senior Vice President and Regional Team Leader for commercial banking with US Bank in SW Idaho. Prior to joining US Bank, she held the position of Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of retail, small business and private client services for Umpqua Bank, based in Portland, OR. While with Umpqua, Kathleen led the successful retail integration of an FDIC assisted acquisition and continued to consult in several subsequent FDIC assisted bank transactions. Prior to her career in financial institutions, Kathleen was a Certified Public Accountant with several Big Four accounting firms and continued to hold her CPA license for over 30 years. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Saint Alphonsus Foundation and Feed the Gap, Inc. In addition she represents the western region for the Risk Management Associates Community Bank Council.
Dave Dickey
Senior Vice President, Eagle Area Market Leader
Dave joined Idaho First Bank in August 2016. He has over 27 years of community banking experience which includes a strong commercial lending background. His last position was SVP/Branch Manager of the DL Evans Bank branch in Eagle. Prior to that he was SVP/Branch Administrator for Idaho Banking Company. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa Texas and a Master’s Degree Equivalent from Pacific Coast Banking School. Dave served on the Eagle Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for over 11 years and has been a part of the Eagle business community since 1994.
Bob Buersmeyer
Senior Vice President, Ketchum Area Market Leader
Bob brings 30+ years of banking experience to Ketchum clients. He strives to be a caring advocate for customers by learning about their needs and goals, then proactively advising them on the banking options that will best meet their needs. With five beautiful mountain ranges near Ketchum, Bob can frequently be found skiing or fly fishing—and enjoying fine food and wine afterward. His secret specialty is cooking delicious Asian food.
Aana Vannoy
Senior Vice President, McCall/ New Meadows Area Market Leader

Aana joined the Bank when it first opened in 2005. She had a brief background in marketing before joining the bank as a commercial loan analyst. Aana has been a commercial loan officer since 2006 and also served as the Bank’s IT Security Officer for 6.5 years. She currently oversees the McCall office and continues to underwrite and maintain a commercial loan portfolio. Aana graduated from the University of Idaho in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Applied Mathematics. She currently serves on the McCall Rotary board of directors and serves on the McCall Donnelly Education Foundation.

Chris Batt

Chris loves community banking, where his team has the freedom to help customers find financial solutions that are in their best interests. A Canyon County native, Chris grew up on an Idaho hops farm before working in banking for the last 16 years. Nights and weekends find Chris cooking, mountain biking, or at his kids’ sports events—but not at the same time.
Steve Ferber
Senior Vice President, Bend Area Market Leader
Steve Ferber joined Idaho First Bank in 2020 and leads the bank’s Loan Production Office in Bend, OR. Steve has worked with commercial borrowers his entire career, and has a true passion for helping small businesses grow and become successful. Steve is excited to lead the team that brings Idaho First Bank's long community banking history of serving similar communities to Central Oregon. When not at work, you can find Steve in the great outdoors with his wife hiking, biking, occasionally skiing, and sometimes he even humbles himself by bringing his golf clubs out of the garage.
Angela Perkins
Vice President, Manager of Bank Operations
Angela joined Idaho First Bank in 2008 as a Customer Relationship Manager. In 2009, she became Operations Officer for the branch. In September 2011 she was appointed AVP and Manager of Bank Operations. Prior to banking, she worked as an Escrow Manager / Officer at a local title company for 5 years. Angie graduated from Trend Business College in Salem, Oregon in 1990.She is very involved in the Meadows Valley community and has served on the Meadows Valley School Board and as an officer in the Chamber of Commerce. Angela is a current member of the West Central Mountain Leadership Academy and a Board Member of the McCall Area Chamber of Commerce.

Stephanie joined Idaho First Bank in 2012 as a Private Banking Relationship Manager. She has numerous years in the private banking field and specializes in forming close and trusting relationships with customers. Stephanie is now supporting all customers as the VP, Relationship Manager in our Professional Banking Department. She will help you reach your financial goals while providing the highest level of customer service. Stephanie is a graduate of Boise State University with a degree in Business Management.

James enjoys Boise’s unique atmosphere of urban diversity plus small-town friendliness. He splits his free time between learning piano (including recitals), spending time with his grandsons (they love hockey and basketball), and indulging in friendly sports rivalries (go Notre Dame).

Mark Miller
Chairman of the Board
Mark is Managing Member and CEO of Miller Family Holdings, LLC, a private equity investment firm based in Portland, Oregon, with ownership in real estate, start-up and long term operating companies. He is also CEO and Managing Member of Signature Northwest LLC, an operating grocery chain with stores in the Portland area market. Mr. Miller served previously as the Senior Vice President of Natural Beverage for Columbia Distributing, the region’s largest distributor of beer, wine, and natural beverages with annual sales exceeding $500 million. Before joining Columbia, he served as a partner with Team Northwest, a large independent food broker, and as President and owner of Signature Sales, which was acquired by Team Northwest. Mr. Miller is a member of the Board of Metropolitan Family Service, Portland State University Foundation, Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management, The Portland Art Museum and the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Miller received his MBA from Graziadio School of Business and Management of Pepperdine University in 2004.
James Fletcher
Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Audit Committee
James is the former Senior Vice President of Univar Corporation, the world’s largest industrial chemical distributor that supplies products and distribution services to all major industrial markets. Mr. Fletcher oversaw worldwide business development and served on the board of Univar Europe. He led the acquisition team that built its European business to over $1 billion in sales volume, expanded the Canadian and United States businesses and opened the Mexican market. He also served for the past six years as Chairman of the Board of Vacation Internationale, which owns and operates 28 vacation resorts in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Mr. Fletcher is currently a significant investor in various real estate construction projects in Seattle, Boise, Yakima, Evansville, Indiana and LaPaz, Baja, Mexico. Mr. Fletcher graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and in 1971 with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Mr. Fletcher is a former senior partner in K&L Gates, now one of the largest law firms in the country, where he headed the real estate practice, and was involved in taking both Microsoft and Starbucks public. Mr. Fletcher and his wife divide their time between Sun Valley, Seattle and LaPaz, Mexico.

John Hale
John began his career as an examiner for the Office of the Controller of the Currency. He established a bank consultancy firm which he sold to KMPG and joined their National Regulatory Advisory Practice. He spent a tour in Mexico City as the Partner in Charge for KMPG’s Advisory Services in Latin America. Upon his return to the US and acting as a Chief Risk Officer for a credit card bank he return to KMPG. He resume leadership of KMPG’s National Commercial Risk Practice. He retired from KPMG in 2015. He have been active in Boise business community through his work as Chairman of the Capital City Development Corporation in Boise, Board membership of The Trailhead, Boise’s entrepreneurial incubator and serves on the Board of Advisors for University of Idaho College of Business and Economics.
Greg Lovell
Greg has been Chief Executive Officer of Idaho First Bank since its organization in 2005. Mr. Lovell has an extensive banking and bank consulting background. He is the former Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President of First Bank of Idaho, FSB of Ketchum, Idaho. Mr. Lovell guided that bank from its inception to its becoming the dominant bank in the Sun Valley area with a 37% market share. Prior to starting First Bank of Idaho, Mr. Lovell was Senior Vice President of Bank of America, N.A. He was in charge of all commercial and private banking activities of their Idaho bank subsidiary. Mr. Lovell began his banking career with Idaho First National Bank with various lending positions including Vice President, Corporate Banking, where he handled large corporate loans. He worked to establish a Ketchum loan production office (subsequently converted to a branch) for Idaho Independent Bank of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and as a bank consultant with FiCap Strategic Partners of Denver, Colorado. In this capacity, he served as Chief Credit Officer of a bank that had engaged FiCap to provide management as a result of regulatory action. He also provided other credit review process for various banks. Mr. Lovell graduated from Brigham Young University of Provo, Utah in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics. He obtained a Masters Degree equivalent from Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle, Washington in 1995.
Ben Mackovak
Ben is the Co-Founder and Managing Member of Strategic Value Bank Partners, an investment partnership specializing in community banks. Prior to Strategic Value Bank Partners, Ben was the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Cavalier Capital, an investment fund based in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to founding Cavalier Capital, he was the Senior Analyst at Rivanna Capital, an investment fund based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Prior to working at Rivanna Capital, Ben worked at First American Trust, an investment firm based in Newport Beach, California. He began his career at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Mackovak holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University.
William Rawlings
William is the former Chief Financial Officer for Agri Beef Co. in Boise, Idaho. He was a founding shareholder in the Company retiring after 30 years of service. He continues to serve the Company as director and as a member of the Finance Committee. Mr. Rawlings is also an active participant in various partnership interests in the Treasure Valley. He has served previously on various boards including: MWI Veterinary Supply Co., General Fire & Casualty Co., and Crane Creek Country Club. Mr. Rawlings received his BS degree from the University of Utah School of Business and is a CPA (retired).
Andy Scoggin
Andy began his career as an attorney with a Bay Area law firm and joined the Albertsons grocery chain as a member of management in 1993. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Labor Relations, Public Affairs and Governmental Relations for Albertsons LLC. Andy has over 27 years in senior executive management positions with national and regional retail food and drug retailers.

Mr. Mooney’s past community service includes Board Chairman of the Boise Metro Chamber, West Region of St.
Luke’s Health System, as well as the Idaho Bankers Association. Mike also represented Idaho on the Federal
Reserve Board Salt Lake City Branch and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle. Mr. Mooney remains active
in the community, currently serving on the boards of Delta Dental of Idaho, United Heritage Financial Group,
Andrus Center, Idaho Business for Education and the Idaho Energy Resource Authority.
